      Boon. Was solo viola player with the
      Amsterdam Philharmonic. One of the pioneers of research into performance
      practice of early music, he became a member of the Leonhardt Consort in
      1959. He played in other Baroque ensembles such as La Petite Bande, Concentus
      Musicus, Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra.
